Before there was Attack Of The Vapours, there was TJMB - or, to a select few, 'The John MacLeod Band'. From October 2012 to April 2015, we gigged plenty, performed on radio, and recorded an album, named 'Unexpected Sunshine'. After its release we spent a while getting it taken back down.

This is not that album.

Well, sort of.

Reworked, re-edited, rebuilt, and - in some cases - re-recorded by Andrew Raphael of Distinct Recording, 'The Agony Of Longing' is almost a complete re-imagining of what the original TJMB album might have been. It's that little bit tighter, it punches that little bit harder, and the central themes of optimism, melancholy, and longing, all well and truly remain in place. These songs have been missing from the world for far too long a time, and we're happy to welcome them back.
